Want to make your History subject SUPER simple? Just grab a copy of A Child's History of the World and this PDF and you will be good to GO.  The chapters in this book are only a few pages, which is really nice because it means you can always fit in a short lesson or choose to cover multiple chapters in one sitting without getting overwhelmed.  I took notes like a madwoman when I did this because I scoured the internet looking for this exact resource and couldn't find it!  You are welcome ;)   (The chapters have witty titles which make it very hard to figure out at a glance what they are going to be about - so I decoded all 91 for ya!)

This PDF includes 2 things: an explanation of what each chapter is about so you can plan ahead (I mostly just got loads of books from the library at each kid's reading level on the same subjects that we'd be covering.  Sometimes I threw in a historical movie or craft if one came to mind - no pressure!).  I also added a list of timeline cards (with dates) we made.  Timelines are fun because they keep our info organized, give the kids something artistic to do while you read, and supply refresher points/reminders for the future!  I geek out about timelines.

This book is Christian based, but easily modified if that's not your thing.  It is written less like a history textbook (dates and numbers) and more like a story to capture the attention of students of all ages.

I hope this everything for you I wish I had been able to find when I chose the book :)  Also - you're going to do great!
